I don’t charge a transfer fee if I sell you the gun. If you know what you want, you buy it at 10% over my cost (min of $40). You pay for it and I don’t charge the consultation fee. You will pay state sales tax and the state background check fee. Depending on what you want, you might have to pay for shipping.

If you need to be fitted for the right firearm, I charge a consultation fee. That fee is 100% applied to your purchase. If you need to think about it, leave and come back later, I will still credit the consultation fee 100% against your firearm purchase. Everyone will pay state sales tax and state background check fee.

Buying from an online retailer or auction site?

Standard Inbound Transfer – $45

Ship to Redridge Arms and complete pickup by appointment after lawful clearance.

Includes:
• Appointment scheduling
• Intake review
• Compliance handling
• Secure handoff

Not included:
• Seller shipping fees
• Government-mandated fees
• Extended storage

Additional Firearm (Same Visit) – $20 each

Applies when multiple serialized items are processed during the same appointment.

Private Party Transfer – $60

One scheduled appointment for both parties. We handle required documentation and compliance steps.

Serialized Item Transfer – $45

Standard transfer handling for receivers or other serialized items.

Outbound Shipment Preparation – $45 + Shipping

Packaging, documentation review, and carrier handoff.

Storage – $5 per day after 10 days

Applies after grace period if items are not picked up.

How It Works

  1. Contact us with transfer type and firearm make/model (or link).

  2. We confirm shipment instructions and send a checklist.

  3. Schedule intake once firearm arrives or both parties are ready.

  4. Pickup by appointment after lawful clearance.

  • Appointment — please arrive on time

  • Only expected individuals — no additional guests without prior approval

🔒 Firearm Safety (Required)

  • All firearms must be UNLOADED before arrival

  • Do not handle or remove firearms until I instruct you

  • Keep firearms holstered or cased when arriving

  • If you’re unsure how to clear your firearm, let me know before the appointment

🆔 Identification

  • Valid Washington driver’s license (temporary OK)

  • If your address is not current, bring a utility bill (Puget Sound Energy, Republic Services, etc.)

📚 Washington Required Training
Washington requires proof of firearm safety training for purchase. Save the PDF at the end.

• Appointment required. Walk-ins may not be available.

• Redridge Arms provides compliance and transfer mechanics only and does not provide legal advice. Probate and inheritance questions should be directed to a qualified attorney.

• All services are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. Redridge Arms may refuse service when legality, safety, or documentation is unclear.

• Government fees, taxes, shipping, and third-party vendor costs (e.g., safe technician/locksmith) are separate unless explicitly included in writing.

• NFA processing times and ATF decisions are outside Redridge Arms’ control. Service fees are for time and handling and may be non-refundable once work begins.

• Storage fees apply after the stated grace period. Items not picked up may be treated as abandoned per written policy and applicable law.

• Quoted prices are good for 30 days unless market conditions or regulatory requirements change.
